Did you miss MMSD's fifth annual Medicine Collection Day last weekend? Over 7,000 pounds of unused and expired prescription and over-the-counter medications were collected and safely destroyed, keeping them out of Lake Michigan and our drinking water.

Thirteen Milwaukee County police departments now accept unused medicines from residents all year long. Participating communities are Bayside, Brown Deer, Cudahy, Fox Point, Franklin, Greendale, Oak Creek, River Hills, Shorewood, South Milwaukee, St. Francis, West Milwaukee, and Whitefish Bay.
